Terms And Conditions For Renting A Mascot Costume

The renter/purchaser agrees to waive any and all liability that may arise from the rental and use of the costume. This rental contract is a written, legal document between the renter/purchaser and Dream Makers Costume Rentals.
The renter/purchaser agrees to ensure that no misuse of the costume occurs, including any third parties for damage, loss, or injury to any person(s) or property(s) that may occur from customer negligence. The renter/purchaser accepts full responsibility for the rental of the costume(s) and Dream Makers Costume Rentals will be free from any claims from customer use or misuse; this includes injury, damage to person(s) or property(s), or loss that occurs out of customer use or negligence; this includes any legal expenses that are incurred in such a claim.

The renter/purchaser agrees to take full responsibility for the rented costume(s). The renter/purchaser agrees to assume full responsibility that the costume will be used properly and safely, and for the maintenance and return back to Dream Makers Costume Rentals. The renter/purchase agrees to all of the conditions set out in the “Safety Agreement” below. The renter/purchaser assumes full responsibility for any damage that occurs to the costume while it is his/her possession. The costume is to be returned in the exact condition that it was rented out in. The renter/purchaser agrees to pay for any costs that occur from any damage or cleaning that results from his/her rental of the costume. These costs will be deducted from the deposit that was collected prior to the rental, or if not sufficient, be collected from the renter/purchaser.

The renter/purchaser agrees to pay for any charges that may occur from the failure to return the costume by the set time outlined in this contract. If renter/purchaser fails to return the costume to Dream Makers Costume Rentals, Dream Makers Costume Rentals’ associates will keep the deposit collected at the time of rental and may take legal action in order to regain rented items without notice.

Safety Agreement

There is a minimum age of 18 years old for anyone who is going to wear any/all of the rented mascot costume pieces.
Any person with a history of back or neck problems are not recommended to wear the mascot costume.
Any person with skin sensitivity are not recommended to wear the mascot costume.an minimum operating age of 18 years
An adult must closely and safely chaperon the mascot at all times.
There are to be no smoking of any kind, open flames, or barbecues within 5 feet of the mascot at ALL times.
There are to be no food or drinks to be consumed by the person wearing the mascot costume.
There is to be no face paints to be used near the mascot costume or be worn by the person in the mascot costume.
An adult must be present at all times in order to supervise any children that are in the vicinity of the mascot costume.
The mascot costume must be kept away from any type of water. This includes (but is not limited to) rain, hail, drizzle, humidity, swimming pools.

In the event of in climate weather, the mascot costume is to be protected by over head cover. This includes (but is not limited to) moving the outdoor party indoors or under a shelter.
Dream Makers will not accept any responsibility for any injury caused to any persons who are exposed to or in the vicinity of the mascot costume.

Upon agreeing to these terms and conditions, payment must be paid in full to Dream Makers Costume Rentals (unless otherwise specified). In the event of cancellation, if the cancellation is made more than 14 days of the scheduled time/date, a full refund will be issued. If the cancellation is made between than 48 hours to 13 days prior to the date/time of the rental/purchase, another date will be arranged that is convenient for both the renter/purchaser and Dream Makers Costume Rentals. This agreed upon date must be within the next 12 months from the original date of the rental/purchase. A credit will be issued from the original date of rental/purchase and used toward the payment of the rescheduled agreed upon date. If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours of the set rental date/time, 100% of the payment will be forfeited from the renter/purchaser to Dream Makers Costume Rental.

The terms and conditions in this contract will be enforced by Dream Makers Costume Rentals and any legal fees that may incur from enforcing these terms and conditions will be assumed by the renter/purchaser.

Booking & Payment Policy

We do bookings only online, not via email. Communication can be made through email or by calling Dream Makers Costume Rentals direct, but in order to solidify a booking it must be done through dreammakerscostumerentals.com.

Payment for the rental costume is required using the forms of payment of a major Credit Card or Paypal upon booking. Prices are subject to change without notice. Once payment is made online, the order is secure.

Delivery is available for a fee. See pricing information.

Arrangement of the pick-up/delivery and drop-off/pick-up time must be done more than 48 hours from the date/time of the rental. This must be done through email, dreammakerscostumerentals@gmail.com, or by calling the business direct at (519) 566-9782.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

In the event of cancellation:
If the cancellation is made more than 14 days of the scheduled time/date, a full refund will be issued.

If the cancellation is made between 48 hours to 13 days prior to the date/time of the rental/purchase, another date will be arranged that is convenient for both the renter/purchaser and Dream Makers Costume Rentals. This agreed upon date must be within the next 12 months from the original date of the rental/purchase. A credit will be issued from the original date of rental/purchase and used toward the payment of the rescheduled agreed upon date.

If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours of the set rental date/time, 100% of the payment will be forfeited from the renter/purchaser to Dream Makers Costume Rental.

Terms and Conditions for Hiring a Performer

The performance/appearance starts at exactly the scheduled time and will be complete at the scheduled time that was set out in the booking (unless otherwise specified).

An adult must closely and safely chaperon the children around the mascot at all times.
There are to be no smoking of any kind, open flames, or barbecues within 5 feet of the mascot at ALL times.
There is to be no face paints to be used near the mascot costume or be worn by the person in the mascot costume.
There are to be no food or drinks to be in the direct vicinity of the performer.
An adult must be present at all times in order to supervise any children that are in the vicinity of the mascot costume.
The mascot costume must be kept away from any type of water. This includes (but is not limited to) rain, hail, drizzle, humidity, swimming pools.

In the event of in climate weather, the mascot costume is to be protected by over head cover. This includes (but is not limited to) moving the outdoor party indoors or under a shelter.

There is to be no physical mistreatment to the mascot at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, kicking, pushing, hitting, or striking. In this event, the performer will leave the premise immediately and no refund will be issued. The renter/purchaser assumes full responsibility if any of these actions take place and Dream Makers Costume Rentals will be free from any claims from customer use or misuse; this includes injury, damage to person(s) or property(s), or loss that occurs out of customer use or negligence; this includes any legal expenses that are incurred in such a claim. The renter/purchaser assumes responsibility and liability for any and all action by the performer for injuries or misconduct which are a result of the costume/performance.

The renter/purchaser agrees to take full responsibility for the rented costume(s). The renter/purchaser agrees to assume full responsibility that the costume will be used in a location that ensures proper and safe conditions. The renter/purchaser assumes full responsibility for any damage that occurs to the costume while it is at his/her event. The costume is to leave the event in the exact condition that it arrived in. The renter/purchaser agrees to pay for any costs that occur from any damage or cleaning that results from his/her rental of the costume.
